Techie December 2025: Three Days of Learning, Connection and Unforgettable Tech Moments at Meluora HUB
From the 18th to the 20th of December 2025, Meluora HUB was alive with energy, ideas, innovation and fun as we hosted our first Techie December event. It was a three-day tech experience designed to educate, inspire, motivate and connect people across different areas and careers in tech. For three unforgettable days, our space was filled with learning, healthy conversations, curiosity, laughter and a shared love for technology and growth. What we witnessed over those three days was more than just an event, it was a shared journey of learning, growth, networking, connection, fun and a genuine healthy community.
We welcomed tech enthusiasts, freelancers, beginners and professionals from different careers and fields in tech, all eager to learn, share, expand their horizon and explore the endless possibilities and opportunities within the tech space. Everyone that walked into the HUB had one thing in common and that’s the desire to learn, network, connect, grow and be better in whatever career they’re focusing on and that alone set the tone for everything else that followed. From the very first day, the atmosphere was vibrant, welcoming and filled with hope of what’s about to unfold.

One of the remarkable aspects of Techie December was the depth of knowledge shared. Professionals from different areas in tech took the stage to speak to the community not just as experts, but as people who had truly walked the journey. While some of them were physically present in the HUB, others joined us virtually to deliver their sessions. They shared real-life experiences, practical lessons, career advice, words of motivation and honest insights into the tech industry. Listening to these well trained, learned and experienced speakers helped us gain exposure to career hacks, skill-building strategies and industry tips that cut across various tech paths and careers. From conversations about getting started in tech to scaling careers, overcoming fear and self doubt and building the self confidence required to be able to sell yourself and your skills in the real world, tips on how to turn your skills into income generating activities, navigating challenges and staying relevant in a fast-changing industry, every session offered something valuable.

These sessions went beyond theory. Speakers broke down complex ideas into simple relatable concepts, making learning easy for both beginners and experienced professionals. There was room for us to ask our questions for clarity and the speakers did so well in answering these questions. It wasn’t just about taking notes or listening quietly. It was about being present, connecting and enjoying the experience. Those little moments, shared laughs, encouraging words and spontaneous interactions are what made Techie December truly memorable.

The lessons shared by the speakers were practical things that we could apply immediately to our careers and personal development. We created rooms where conversations flowed freely, speakers connected with participants and participants with fellow participants. This environment allowed us to practice in real time what is being taught, learn from one another as participants and also connect with ourselves in groups.

The Appsolutehub team also joined us for this event. Appsolutehub is a creative tech brand that helps people understand, explore and use technology with confidence. They shared their vision with us, introduced us to their products and even shared gifts to the people who participated in their games.

We did not just learn throughout the event, we also had time for refreshments and fun. We played games with each other, laughter filled the rooms, networking moments felt natural and the overall vibe remained relaxed and purposeful. This moment reminded us that learning doesn’t have to be unyielding and stiff, it can also be enjoyable and inspiring at the same time.

We also had professionals in the community who took their time to motivate and encourage us not to give up at any time even if we’re not seeing the results we’re craving for at the moment. They shared their experiences reminding us that results may vary at times but one thing is definitely certain: “opportunities will always come to those who are ready”(Mr. Nwafor Anayor). They encouraged us to always learn and grow with the inventions and trends in the tech industry because if we remain dormant, the new inventions will introduce new opportunities and only those who have trained and grown with these inventions will be able to enjoy these opportunities. They also encouraged us not to remain idle while looking for the big breakthrough.
“In the process of chasing the bag, if you see purse, grab am”
This is an infamous “famous” but hilarious quote from Mr. Eke while he was giving us his his words of encouragement while emphasizing on the need to keep ourselves busy learning and improving at all times

At the core, Techie December was a reflection of what Meluora HUB stands for: community, growth and collaboration. The event reinforced our belief that success in tech is not just about skills, but also about the people you learn from and grow with. Meluora HUB provided more than just a venue, we offered a safe and productive space where ideas could thrive, conversations could happen and people could feel seen, heard and supported. Techie December was a true representation of the power of community-driven learning. Techie December 2025 was successful and one thing remains clear: its impact will last for more than those three days.

At Meluora HUB, we remain committed to creating community-based experiences like this, spaces where learning meets connection and growth feels achievable. Techie December may be over but the conversations, inspiration and memories it created are only just beginning.
